As the founder of Amberclaw, I bring a decade of professional experience in the games industry, backed by many more years of study. My background spans game design and quality assurance, alongside leadership, management, and coordination roles. I’ve worked with large, established studios such as PlayStation and TT Games, as well as smaller teams like Awe Interactive, and I’ve contributed to freelance and indie projects throughout my career. I have also taken part in industry events with TIGA, BAFTA, Prince's Trust and EGX, and I have studied business. This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of large-scale production, agile independent development, and the confidence to lead a studio with clarity and purpose. The decision to start Amberclaw Games was both personal and professional. As a father, I’m passionate about creating games that teenagers can connect with - experiences shaped in part by the honest input and perspectives of my daughter. Professionally, I saw a growing gap in the UK for indie Unreal Engine development, especially at a time when widespread redundancies and layoffs have made long-term stability rare. I’d wanted to build my own projects for a long time, and this moment felt like the right time to take that step - combining experience, independence, and creative freedom to build something lasting. Amberclaw Games exists to turn that vision into reality.
